Just Because Flowers is a new flower brand on the Australian market. These flowers are for the “just because…” moments in life, those impulse and last minute flower purchases, just because.
Just Because Flowers made their debut appearance at the 2015 Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show, and the clear objective was to build impact via social media, Facebook in particular.
Social media is both connective and disruptive, and playing to these strengths, Kenobi developed a campaign and activation that was both simple and effective. With active social media content driving interest in the lead-up to the MIFGS event, we capitalised on the special ‘day out’ feel that the Flower Show brings in spades, and set up a social photo booth at the stand, as well as ran a series of competitions.
Over 1,000 Flower Show attendees stopped and engaged with the Just Because team and had their photos taken at the photo booth, which posted photos directly to the Just Because Flowers Facebook page. Facebook likes increased 4.5 times and engagement reached over 100,000 prospective Just Because Flowers customers.
Just Because Flowers now has the start of an engaged social media community, has delivered five prizes of delivered roses, and put a lot of smiles on faces.
